Special Wage Issues in California (CA)



The federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires employers to pay covered 
employees who are not otherwise exempt at least the federal minimum wage for all hours 
worked, and overtime pay at a rate of not less than one and one-half times their regular
 rates of pay after 40 hours of work in a workweek.
